2012 Victor Blue Devils Cadet Winterguard
Let their hearts sing

The Victor Blue Devils Cadet winterguard is proud to present their 2012 show entitled “Let Your HeartSing”.

The Victor Blue Devils Cadet winterguard is comprised of students ranging in grades 5 through 7. They were the 2010 and 2011 North East Color Guard Circuit Bronze medalists and the recipient of the 2010 George Cowburn Esprit de Corps Award.

The group is under the direction of Tracy Rowan. Show design, equipment choreography and instruction are by Mary Burke, Tracy Rowan and Ashley Wojtczak.

Once there was a little girl who listened to her music box- day dreaming of how it would be to become a fairy, complete with wings; and fly .
Join the Lil Devils as they portray the simple story of dreams coming true
We are in the learning process of the “how to” in guard. We hope to one day be performing at levels like our big sisters. Although a dream today, we remind you that with hard work, time and commitment, dreams can come true.
The group is under the direction of Lesley Rider

Victor Cadet Guard Awarded
Prestigious Esprit de Corps Award

The Victor Cadet Guard completed their 2010 season finishing third among 42 guards from across New York State and Canada at the North East Colorguard Circuit Championships held on March 26, 2010 at RIT’s Gordon Field House. The New York State Federation of Contest Judges also awarded the Victor Cadet Guard the prestigious George Cowburn “Esprit de Corps Award” for exemplifying the characteristics of George Cowburn—dedication to the activity, willingness to assist other members of the circuit, good sportsmanship, integrity, and honor.

“This award, is one of the most prestigious awards a guard in the circuit can ever hope to receive, ” said Elaine Robinson, director, Victor Cadet Guard. “We are extremely appreciative of receiving the award that recognizes the hard work and dedication our guard has put forth this entire season.”

The Victor Cadet Guard is comprised of 25 students ranging in age from grades 5 through 7. Their 2010 performance was titled “A Walk Through Candy Land” where the performers traveled a colored path from Lollypop Forest, to Candy Cane Lane, through the Gum Drop Mountains finally arriving at the Candy Castle.
