The Victor Indoor Percussion Ensemble (VIPE) is proud to announce their 2013 program entitled “Disturbia”.

“Disturbia” follows the progression of a person as he gradually loses control of reality and his life is destroyed by disturbing habits. The ensemble portrays our character’s internal struggle using an aggressive visual style and original music score.

The Victor Indoor Percussion Ensemble is the back to back to back 2010, 2011 and 2012 State Champions in the Scholastic A class. They are also 2012 and 2011 Norristown Regional finalists, 2010 Dayton WGI Regional Gold Medalists. Victor placed 8th in scholastic A finals for the 2010 WGI World Championships.

Victor Indoor Percussion Ensemble is under the direction of Ted Mascari. Instructional staff includes Patsy VanKirk, Jonathan Ytreberg, Sara Zuhlsdorf, Joe Taylor, Zach Allyn, and Brandon Maxwell.

The Ensemble is celebrating their 8th season of involvement in the New York State Percussion Circuit. The group’s storied and successful history includes 4 NYSPC titles.

VIPE would like to thank the Victor Central School District and Administration, the Victor Band Boosters as well as all the parents and families of the ensemble, your hard work and dedication never goes unnoticed.

Inspired by the original music of Rob Ferguson the ensemble will look into the theories of emotions that can be FLIPPED. Look for theme portrayal of these classic behaviors and Victor’s trademark spin through emotion, musicality and motion.

The Ensemble is celebrating their 7th season of Involvement in the New York State Percussion Circuit. The group’s storied and successful history includes 3 NYSPC titles.

Look for theme portrayal of these classic behaviors and Victor’s trademark spin through emotion, musicality and motion.
