Marching Blue Devils Place Second at Eastridge

 Eastridge Competition
 West Genesee
 81.6
 Victor 78.8
 Orchard Park
 77.0
 Webster 73.5

The Victor Marching Blue Devils started off their season with a successful first launch of their Spirit of St. Lous: A Transatlantic Journey program by placing second in the National Class at the Eastridge show with a score of 78.8.

The Victor Marching Blue Devils placed second behind reigning State Champion West Genesee who scored an 81.6. Victor placed ahead of Orchard Park who won the state championship two years ago who scored a 77.0. This was the first time in the organizations history that they placed higher than Orchard Park signifying the tremendous amount of growth the program has demonstrated this season. Webster rounded out the National class with a score of 73.5.

The staff and members have worked exceptionally hard in the pre-season to prepare for this competition and were extremely pleased with the performance and the judges and audiences reception of the program.

Victor heads to Cicero-North Syracuse next weekend to compete again six bands in their class including another opportunity to compete against West Genesee. Please come out and support your Victor Marching Blue Devils.
